What sub-trades are used in a bathroom renovation?
I can only do so much as a solo owner/operator style business. I choose to partner only with trusted,
reputable professionals, that is, if I need to bring someone in. These trades and friends are:
· City Electric Ltd. – licensed electrical work
· Bru-Mac Mechanical & Plumbing – licensed plumbing work
Beyond those trades, all other work is performed by me directly, meaning:
· One person is responsible for the project from demolition to final completion.
· You see the same familiar face in your home each day.
· Quality execution, preformed by someone who actually knows what they are talking about.
What waterproofing system do you use for showers?
I use Schluter System. I appreciate its simplicity and muti-layer approach. The wall system provides
strong and proven waterproofing. The floor and shower pan system accompany the wall creating an
orange wonderland. The more orange on a job is the better! (The Schluter System is the colour orange).
This ensures your shower installation is durable, watertight, and built to last.
